Restored Wellness is excited to offer group therapy sessions starting December 2023.

What is group therapy?

Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy where individuals with similar concerns or issues come together in a supportive and confidential setting to share their experiences, emotions, and insights. Led by a psychologist or counselor, group therapy provides a unique opportunity for personal growth and healing. Participants benefit from the opportunity to connect with others who can relate to their struggles, reducing feelings of isolation and stigma. Through the exchange of perspectives, feedback, and coping strategies, individuals in group therapy can gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their challenges. This collaborative approach fosters empathy, trust, and a sense of community, making group therapy an effective and therapeutic way to address a wide range of mental health issues and personal difficulties.
