  • Penny is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology. With over 27 years of experience supporting children, teens, parents, and families, she brings a deep understanding of developmental and relational dynamics to her counselling work. Building on that experience, she offers individual counselling to adolescents, adults, and parents—particularly those navigating parenting challenges, family dynamics, and life transitions. Penny takes a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach, drawing on evidence-based, person-centered, and strength-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)—to support clients in building resilience, enhancing well-being, and fostering meaningful change. She believes that therapy should be a supportive partnership where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow. Penny is committed to creating a safe, respectful space where clients can explore challenges, strengthen coping strategies, and move forward with confidence, clarity, and connection.
