About This Provider

Penny is a Practicum Counsellor currently completing a Master of Art in Counselling Psychology with Yorkville University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Athabasca University. Penny has 27 years of experience working with children, teens, and parents prior to beginning her career in counselling psychology. Penny believes in each client's innate ability to identify their strengths and seeks to facilitate a strength-based, collaborative, nonjudgmental, and person-centered approach for clients which focuses on highlighting and developing existing strengths while developing new skills. As a Practicum Counsellor Penny provides individual counselling services to children, teens, and adults, as well as couples and family counselling.
