Stasia is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary. She utilizes a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), for which she is a certified provider.
Stasia has also pursued specialized training in narcissistic and emotional abuse recovery, conflict resolution, effective communication, and ADHD. She collaborates closely with clients to develop individualized, client-centered, and strength-based treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and needs. With over 15 years of experience in adult education, Stasia emphasizes life-skill development as a core outcome of therapy. Her goal is for clients to leave each session equipped with a practical skill to navigate life’s challenges and enhance their mental well-being.
Stasia specializes in supporting individuals as they rebuild their lives after emotional abuse. As a member of the chronic pain community and an LGBTQ2+ ally, she provides a safe and inclusive space for all clients.
