About This Provider

Meagan is a practicum counsellor currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with Yorkville University. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science with a minor in child studies. Meagan has 12 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the field of psychiatry and has worked with individuals of all ages in multiple acute care and community settings. Meagan is passionate about working with children and adolescents as well as individuals who have experienced trauma. Meagan enjoys practicing from multiple modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy, expressive arts, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. Meagan believes in approaching counselling from a collaborative, person-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed lens.
